The Cloisters

We had a great time at the Cloisters today. Thank goodness in traditional "Nanny" fashion we brought our lunch because the cafeteria was closed. It was cold and breezy and we had tired kids so we couldn't stay or walk around outside as much as I would have liked but that's ok. Now that I have been back I will be making more trips there with the kids - I forgot how beautiful it is uptown. More pictures later - I'm tired!!!

Weekend at Nanny's

After the museum we went home with my parents and had a fun weekend. Vin & Isaiah beat Poppy and Daniel at Foosball (surprised?). Poppy had hot cocoa ready for the five older grand kids after they came in from being outside for almost 3 hours - Oh to have a backyard that big! Of course Nanny in the kitchen and then a fun picture with the cousins.

Sarcophagus

The sarcophagus.

Some fun shots.

Bracey trying to read hieroglyphics; all the kids in the temple, Bracey and Peter, Bracey trying to do some mind tricks with the crystal ball - That crystal ball was so impressive. It was from china and weighed 43 pounds. It took years and years of turning with sand and water to get it perfect!!! Last picture is a cool quilt of the continents and countries - USA was blue jeans of course!!!

More Penn Museum

My parents and Jeanette w/kids joined us. This was a trip organized by Pastor Weinbaum for his Lands of the Bible class.

A leafless existence

Just so you all can feel what I feel (cause you can't hear it) I am showing you how my neighbor methodically removes EVERY leaf on her property. Since we live so close she does part of my property too. It has rained for a few day here so many a leaf has fallen. Today my neighbor used her leaf blower 3 times! As you can see I also included what a normal house should look like!! I enjoy the leaves but not while I live here!!!
We are taking a short trip to PA - Dad please leave the leaves for us to play in!!!
Debs, Kathy, B&K, and friends have fun in Paris!! Love ya.
