Ten days...

For the past 10 days we have had company at our house. We are finally back to the 5 Fuenzalida's. We had a great time with Kathlene and then Luc, Jeannine, and Nanny! Here are some pics. Can you tell which food is real? Daniel is doing his college level Latin HW - not easy! A picture of our last house guests!

End Ropes course

Even more Ropes Course

Picture #1 "the Cat Walk" Yes you had to climb up the pole and walk across the log. Pic #2 Alyse with Frog. Pic #3 Esther getting ready for the "Cat Walk" she made it up the ladder and then came down - it was to scary. Pic #4 Isaiah getting ready for his high element.

More Ropes Course

Here we are again. Picture #1 is "Moby Deck" balancing the whole team and then performing a movement together. Picture #2 "Beam" get the whole team from one side to the other over the beam. Picture #3 the "TP Shuffle" each person in turn had to move from one end to the opposite side without falling off the log (not easy to do). Picture #4 "Trust walk" you get it right??? Daniel do you trust Ryan? More to come......

Ropes Course

Here we are at the Alley Pond Ropes Course in Queens. It was a fun filled day and reminded me of the obstical course in Deer Park but more advanced. The 3rd picture was the "Nitro Swing". You had to get the swing without leaving the dirt pile, then swing each person one at a time to the other side where there was a small platform. The girls had one plan (pic #3) and the boys another (pic #4). Many more posts to come...

Fun on Friday

Today we had our co-op school. First picture is of my Leading to Logic class. It was so much fun! Then we went to the Yummy Outlet cause we need lots of snacks this weekend. Next is Esther going to her girlfriends for a sleep over. Then our table set for dinner - we are having several guests tonight with a menu of chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes, salad, bread, and apple sauce.

And finally Daniel and Isaiah's friends that will be sleeping over. Great day!

Hello everyone. After speaking with Debbie who is in Germany right now - living large on pretzles, sausage and drink! - I realized that following her blog was so cool. I knew almost everything she did and yet she had no clue what I was doing in Brooklyn, NY. So I created a blog so she could see what we do everyday.
